Franklin County Business Directory
The Franklin County Business Community is a yearly addition to the Saint Albans Messenger that highlights numerous businesses in Franklin County. This piece has been a highlight in the community for over 35 years. I was entrusted to do the cover art, inside layout, over 100 print advertisements and all of the marketing ads for this 50 page newspaper directory.
This year it has transitioned from a bifold tabloid (see 2019 version below) to a glossy magazine style print.
The 2019 edition displays digital advertisements primarily displayed on the client's website.
Muse & Stone Magazine
The Muse and Stone is a 52 page magazine consisting of art, poetry, written word and photography. I composed the layout and organized content in a manner which is easy to navigate and understand. I was also responsible for communication with the off-site printer and other pre-press responsibilities.
I was selected for this project two years consecutively.
Saint Albans Recreation Guidebook
The St. Albans Recreation Guide is a calendar of events taking place throughout the season for children and families. It is organized by category and dates for easy navigation.
This project was challenging because the dates and events would often change close to the deadline and I needed to be flexible and quick to rework the layout in a way that still flowed for the reader. I believe my communication skills and good judgment allowed this project to be completed on time.
